Anneliese Wedin, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Anneliese lives in Woodbury with her husband, two daughters, and three cats (Isabella, Crookshanks, and Ju-Ju Bee). She feels a strong bond with the area and our clinic having been mentored here at Woodbury Animal Hospital during high school. She really enjoys being able to work with people in the community she lives in, and likes getting to know them both in and out of the clinic. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family canoeing, ice skating, skiing, or just relaxing at the beach. Dr. Anneliese also loves crochet and is an avid reader (when her children and schedule allow it).

Amie, Certified Veterinary Technician

inside imageAmie is a Veterinary Technician as well as a Computer Specialist at Woodbury Animal Hospital. Graduating from Argosy University in 2004, Amie's induction into the veterinary world began when she decided to combine two of her interests: animals and nursing care. Getting to know Woodbury's patients and their owners is her favorite part of the job, followed closely by client education. She shares her home with husband Tim, daughter Mallory, 3 cats (Simba, Simon and Daphne) and a rabbit (Max). Her activities outside of work include scrapbooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Julie, Certified Veterinary Technician, Office Manager

inside imageJulie came to Woodbury Animal Hosital in 1991 for an internship after graduating from the Medical Institute of Minnesota (now Argosy University) and she's been with us ever since. It's a field she's drawn to as it combines her enjoyment of science, medicine and animals. A Woodbury resident since 1996, she and her husband Rick and two children share their home with their yellow lab Rudy and their cat Bauer. In her free time between responsibilities at work and home you'll probably find Julie outdoors. She enjoys fishing, running, watersports and spending time at the family cabin.

Kellie, Certified Veterinary Technician

inside imageAfter receiving an Associate in Arts Degree from Normandale Community College in Minneapolis, Kellie went on to study to become a Veterinary Technician at Argosy University – combining her passion for medicine and love of animals into a fulfilling career. She finds working in her chosen field both challenging and rewarding, with new challenges everyday. Her pets include Hailey – a Great Pyrenees – and two cats named Sasha & Bella. When she has time off from work, Kellie likes to play sand volleyball, scuba dive, and take her dog to the local dog park.

Kelsey, Certified Veterinary Technician

inside imageEducated at Argosy University, Kelsey enjoys keeping four-legged family members happy and healthy, even when dealing with the unexpected. She has a Siberian Husky named Sasha, a Rat Terrier named Romeo, and a Ball Python named Jade. Kelsey's interest in medical science and anatomy combined with her love of animals make working in the veterinary world her ideal job. Kelsey is also an award-winning licensed taxidermist, bowhunter, and enjoys scouting and wildlife artistry. Feel free to ask her about her trained squirrel, Nutter Butter.

Laura, Certified Veterinary Technician

inside imageLaura works as one of our Veterinary Technicians, and loves the rewarding work of caring for animals. A graduate of Argosy University, she first discovered veterinary medicine as a child when her first pet (a puppy named Maddie) became very sick. Ever since seeing Maddie treated and returned home so quickly, Laura has known she wanted to help animals. Today she shares her home with her Maddie and a Beagle named Sammie. Her other interests include photography, cake decorating and scrapbooking.

I want to thank all of you for taking such wonderful care of me when I got my teeth cleaned and tooth pulled recently. I even came home with my coat neatly brushed and smelling mighty fine. I'm my old self again - Harley the Dog
